    • Stealing Joy

Stealing joy from the stars when I can’t find it anywhere else.

    • "I will not be moved . . . "

Remembering Hurricane Harvey, and what comforts me when the earth gives way.

    • A Faith Filled Song

“Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge.” Psalm 119:54

    • Rare and beautiful treasures . . .

A rejection letter and story about my grandma’s life written a few months after I was born is priceless to me. I’m so glad she didn’t throw it away.

    • Taking off my pearls . . .

Sharing the fumbles and bumbles of a pastor’s wife who is far more comfortable in her old, worn Pumas than her heels.

    • Sweet or Sour?

We usually become more of what we already are as we age.

    • What I know, and what I thought I knew . . .

Small town love and the month of new . . .

    • Hair Ties and Hospital Rooms

God provides for our needs, both big and small.

    • To leave a place loved . . .

Many have asked why we would leave a church and community we love when no one is “making” us leave. Sharing the story of how God has spoken to us has been healing for me, and I hope it will be helpful to others. All I can say, is that God has been incredibly patient and kind, in our time here and in our leaving.

    • God doesn't give stones and He doesn't give snakes . . .

Sharing a few words of lament and praise in this transition.

A disciple-making, pastor’s wife, girl mom and nurse… sharing hope where she finds it, and the fumbles and bumbles along the way.

“What I tell you in the dark, speak in the light. What you hear in a whisper, proclaim on the housetops.”

    Matthew 10:27
